Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Lomi Labs, Inc.(“Lomi,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use the Lomi app and the website at heylomi.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email privacy@heylomi.ai.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, profile photo and time zone, provided by you or by the service you sign in with (Google, Microsoft or email).
  • Content you add: messages, files, voice notes and their transcripts, documents, comments, reactions, and anything else you or your teammates put into Lomi.
  • Meetings:if you invite Lomi’s meeting bot, we collect the meeting’s transcript, in-call chat, a summary, and the names and email addresses of participants.
  • Connected apps: if you connect Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, GitHub or Linear, we store the access you grant and read the information Lomi needs to answer your requests or take actions you ask for.
  • Billing: plan and subscription details. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number.
  • Usage and device information: how much you use Lomi (for example message counts), basic technical information, and push notification settings for your devices.
  • Waitlist: if you join our waitlist on heylomi.ai, we store your email address.

How we use it

  • To run Lomi: storing your content, showing it to the people you share it with, and powering AI features such as answers, summaries and drafts.
  • To personalize Lomi. Lomi learns how you like to work (for example, your communication preferences and areas of expertise) so its responses fit you better. Lomi does not share what it has learned about one person with other people.
  • To provide support, fix problems and keep the service secure.
  • To bill you and to send service messages such as invitations and meeting summaries.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train our own AI models.

AI processing

Lomi’s AI features work by sending relevant content (such as the conversation, a document, or a transcript) to AI model providers, which generate a response that we return to you. These providers act on our behalf to deliver the service. AI responses can be wrong, so please check anything important.

Who we share it with

  • Other people in your workspace, according to the sharing settings you and your workspace choose.
  • Service providers that help us run Lomi, including cloud hosting and storage (Google Cloud), AI model providers (Anthropic, Google and Perplexity), meeting recording and transcription (Recall.ai and its transcription partners), live dictation (Gladia), sign-in (Clerk), payments (Stripe), email delivery (Resend) and AI troubleshooting tools. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • Apps you connect, when you ask Lomi to do something in them, such as send an email or create an issue.
  • For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

Access by our team

A small number of authorized Lomi engineers may access workspace content only when needed to troubleshoot a problem, keep the service secure, or comply with the law.

Workspaces managed by your company

If you use Lomi through a workspace set up by your company or another organization, that organization controls the workspace and its content, including who can join and what happens to content when someone leaves. Requests about workspace content may be passed to your workspace admin.

Meeting recordings

When you invite Lomi to a meeting, it records and transcribes the conversation, and a summary may be emailed to participants. You are responsible for telling the other participants that Lomi is recording and for getting any consent the law requires where you and they are located.

Google user data

Lomi’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google data only to provide the features you request in Lomi, and we do not use it to train AI models or for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep something for legal, security or billing reasons. Copies in our backups are removed as those backups expire.

Messages and content you shared with other people stay visible to them after you leave, but they are no longer linked to your name. Content in a company workspace stays with that workspace.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing privacy@heylomi.ai. We handle these requests by hand and will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

You can disconnect apps and change notification settings at any time in Lomi’s settings.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and browser storage needed to sign you in and remember your preferences, such as your theme and last-open workspace. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Security and storage

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. Lomi is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed there.

Children

Lomi is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
